Jill Smith. A series of knittings based on the gansey patterns of the Scottish fleet.

Gansey patterns used:

“Diamond” “Marriage Lines” “Harbour Steps” and moss stich. Scottish fleet, Boddam near Peterhead.

Made on the Isle of Lewis using Harris Tweed wool and made up into a cushion backed with Harris Tweed by her daughter Saffron Paffron.
